As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, SIDCO Alaska strengthens its community by preserving culture, building infrastructure, and creating economic opportunity—empowering the people of Ouzinkie to thrive today and into the future.
The Spruce Island Development Corporation (SIDCO) was formed in 2004 as a 501(c) 3 non-profit corporation to serve the Alaska Native people of the Kodiak Borough, including the City of Ouzinkie and the village of Ouzinkie. SIDCO is governed by a 9-member Board of Directors representing the Tribe, City, and SIDCO.
